Russian crt fines Google 15 mln rbl for non-localized personal data
MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- Magistrate Timur Vakhrameyev of the Tagansky District Court of Moscow has fined Google 15 million rubles for a repeated refusal to localize personal data of its Russian users, PRIME reported on Thursday.
A Google representative did not attend the court session.
According to the communications service’s report, Google continues to use the bases located in the U.S. and the E.U. to store personal data.
